Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 356928.
The red rumble strip as the speed limit changes to 40 miles per hour is in very poor condition and creates an substantial amount of vibration for the nearby houses, ie Pear Tree Cottage, causing a cracking noise through the house. Can this rumble strip be resurfaced, or even better, moved further down the road so that when drivers see it they slow down, so that by the time they hit the 40mph speed limit, that is the speed cars are going. Currently they are only starting to slow down as they hit the speed limit sign and rumble strip.
