Hazardous Diversion Sign
Reported in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 18:27, Wed 30 October 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 357983.
There is a diversion sign pointing into Welron from the A46, to traffic coming from the Lincoln direction. However, it is placed on the island to the offside of the side road coming out of Welton onto A46. So, if you are coming out of Welton and turning right, as most do, when you get to give-way line all you can see is the back of the sign, not oncoming traffic on A46. To see oncoming traffic, you have to virtually edge the front of your car onto A46 to see past it. I recommend this is urgently moved, assuming someone from village doesn't do it themselves, especially as this junction already has a poor safety record.

This sign is still here. I noticed a car hanging it's nose out into the A46 this morning in an attempt to view if the road was clear. Very dangerous at peak times at a junction already known to be a accident area.
