Hi Can you provide an update on when your detailed investigations will commence. I would like to discuss this with you so that a solution can be found and it doesn't reoccur during Autumn and Winter as it freezes over and becomes an ice rink. There are a number of elderly residence that live in the street and I dont want them to have an accident Thanks

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. Whilst it is recognized that this issue was reported some time ago we are still unable to act in a timely manner to mitigate this. It is now known that the surcharge flooding from the highway surface water drainage system within the Heath Road/Shaw Way estate is linked to faults identified downstream of the estate within Scothern Road. Works to repair these faults are being considered but we are afraid that no timescales can be provided at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
