Roadway still completely flooded after 5 weeks and a forecast of rain for the next two weeks.
Reported in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category anonymously at 09:40, Tue 5 November 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 358319.
This LCC continues to allow the dangerous use of this heavily flooded lane. The flood waters have now removed the entire length of verge protecting vehicles from driving into the adjoining dykes (which remain unseen under the deep water). The roadside verge protection markers have also all been washed away. The flood waters are carried along the lane by the traffic for a distance of up to half a mile which when the first frosts arrive will leave this lane as a lethal to use highway. The lane should be immediately closed until a larger diameter culvert is installed.

The local Witham Third Internal Drainage Board engineer has examined this flooding problem and has decided that the issue is with the LCC culvert and as such the Highways engineers are responsible for providing a satisfactory culvert to prevent further floodin of the local area and my home.
