Craypool lane flooded despite drain clearance team visiting yesterday

The three drains along craypool lane from 20 to 28 craypool lane are not managing to take away the surface water. This flood occurred after only 2hrs of rain. Extended heavy rain is forecast for the rest of the week. This is impacting on villagers ability to walk to school to collect and drop off children.

We have carried out an initial assessment, but a more detailed investigation is required. We will provide a further update when this has been completed.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because when we recently inspected this location there was no standing water on the carriageway and the gullies appeared to be clear. Thank you for reporting this matter.
