Huge pothole on clocktower roundabout
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 19:14, Thu 7 November 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 358555.
I’ve noticed this pothole the past month or so, it’s on the clocktower roundabout, is big in size and depth. Could cause damage to vehicles or cause a serious accident. Hard to avoid when changing lanes and makes a loud bang when going over.

This pothole is atrocious. My car went into it again last night even though I am aware of it as it was dark and heavy rain. I came on here to report a fortnight ago and saw that somebody had already reported it. Please do something about this asap, it makes an almighty bang when you drive over it

I went over this hole a few weeks ago in the dark and didn’t realise how big it was, ever since my vehicle has made an horrendous noise even after changing the new tyre it made egg on the side wall and the alloy wheel that it buckled... doesn’t the council have someone to drive around and check the roads conditions?

For goodness sake poor sods are wrecking their cars on this. Shows how much you actually care. You need to change your system so that some temporary redress can be made even if to cone off. Not fair on people having their cars wrecked because you decided to fix but waiting longer for something else to be done. If you don't warn drivers of a serious pothole you surely are at fault. I guess it's keeping your legal department busy with all the claims!
