Flooding problem
Reported via Open311 in the Flooding category by Customer Services at 03:14, Fri 8 November 2019
Council ref: 4135926.
Beverly called as there is 1inch of water in house and it is still coming in.
I asked if there was a nearby water source and Beverly said no – the closest drainage ditch is 2 acres away, but she did report to the council last week that the drainage ditches were over flowing but she was told NFA was needed.
Beverly says that the entire road is flooded, but she cannot tell if it is passable or not as it is dark outside and no street lights.
I advised Beverly to call the Fire Brigade due to water in the house.
UPDATE – Beverly has called back and says Fire Brigade have asked her to request sandbags be organised for her.
