The highlighted drain seems to have a blockage, as following the recent torrential rainfall, water is running down the Gutter of Legsby Road and draining in the next drain opposite the junction of The Ridings. All drains up Legsby Road are currently full of water with water coming from the ditch adjacent to the last bungalow on the right hand side. This property currently has the front garden flooded, probably caused by the blocked drain, as water is escaping up through the drain opposite the last bungalow. This has been occuring all day today, and is still occurring now .

  • Despite reporting this on 8th November, this blocked drain has not yet been cleared. Following todays heavy rain the water is backed up again in drain covers up Legsby road , the ditch past the last bungalow is full, and I believe this backup causes the flood in my bungalow drive.

  • Following heavy rain with storm Denis last weekend (15/16 Feb 2020) we still have the issue of full drains up the road from the reported blocked drain. (Issue first reported over 3 months ago). These drains as well as a full ditch of water adjacent to "Davenscourt"(which connect diagonally across the road to the road drains), I believe causes my drive to flood at "Clearwell", as I believe I am the lowest point for water to escape. I have had my property drains checked and there is not an issue, as has "The Shambles" next door, but we believe our drains are connected to the road drains and ditch system which when blocked then causes a flood on my drive . Its now over 3 months since I first reported this issue, can you please sort this problem before a further heavy downfall will flood my drive again, and maybe flood my garage.
