Dear Mr Sturman
Thank you for allowing me the time to escalate this to our Water Recycling team.
The reference number you’ve provided is a Lincolnshire County Council highways reference, so this relates to a surface water flooding. We’ve checked responsibility and the surface water system on Eastfield Road is a highways owned system.
We have had no reported foul blockages on Eastfield Road. Our main 750mm foul sewer runs through Eastfield Road taking all of Louth's sewage. We’ve now checked this and it’s free flowing with no blockages.
I’m sorry Mr Sturman, the surface water gulleys are something we are not responsible for; you will need to speak to Lincolnshire County Council in relation to the reference number you gave us, and any damage the flooding has caused.
If you have any further questions, please contact me directly. You can either reply to this email, or telephone on 01522 341418 between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regardsGina Vasey
