Flooding problem

Reported in the Flooding category by Customer Services at 12:07, Friday 15 November 2019

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4136953.

The side of the dyke has a hole which is now seeping water down North Street. There is a lot of pressure on the side of the dyke & if it gives way, approx 30 - 40 houses will be flooded. Residents have been in touch with the IDB who said their responsibility starts 30m away from the hole so they will not be doing anything. In 2012 LCC entered into a scheme with the owner of the dyke - a Mr Keys. They want to know what to do next? Some people already have some sand bags because water from the fields has flooded them. Please could we take some more sand bags. I advised them to propvide their own if possible.
