Flooding on main arterial A road from Grimsby-Caistor, Mkt. Rasen, Lincoln.
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 19:19, Tue 19 November 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 359454.
Been like this for a week now and nothing done about it. This is a main A route and finding another way round is made even more difficult with the road from Holton le Moor to Moortown closed for sewarage works. Traffic is having to go a long, round about route through small villages to get to the major towns, not good when it is heavey haulage going through a village. Could be sorted in a day if the water was pumped away and the culvert/dyke cleared, the same at the Ulceby junction on the same road which has flooded several times. Why not get outside contracters into do it and get it sorted before it has an even more detrimental impact on poeples lives and local businesses. The Hope Tavern must be suffering badly.

The road is still closed after 6 days. one of the diversion routes take you through a small village single track road. I live at north Kelsey moor and there are 5 ways of getting to market rasen. 3 of these are shut and impassable with one other has a flood sign up. this is the second time it has flooded on the A46 which is one of the busiest A roads in the uk. local land owners have filled in the dykes. 10 cars have already been damaged let alone van numbers. it is pathetic please please help us
