Very large and deep pothole on southbound carriageway
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 15:37, Fri 29 November 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 360284.
This pothole has appeared over the last 2 days and is so large and deep that it could cause a motorcyclist to crash. The pothole is also near the right side of the southbound lane, which is where a motorcyclist would normally be positioned on the approach to the bend in the road. The pothole is impossible to see or avoid in the dark, which currently means both the morning and evening rush hours.

Potholes on both sides of road. Extremely deep along the A15 near cranwell. I drive home every night and it's hard to see them, I'm surprised it's not done massive damage to my car and others. Drivers swerve into the other side of the road to avoid them and its going to cause a crash soon.

I’ve read about several reports of people reporting damage to their vehicles on the A15 near the Digby turn off. I hit the pothole myself last night . I hope it’s been fixed now? There are several potholes on that stretch of road that need rectifying . An accident waiting to happen and untold damage to vehicles.

Saw this pothole just before hitting it on way home this evening. It is not possible to avoid it without moving into the oncoming carriageway. This pothole has not been fixed 36 hours after update from highways department saying it would be rectified within 24 hours.

This pothole was reported last Friday afternoon and still has not been fixed despite the status being “in progress”. Will it take a serious accident to happen before this and the string of potholes running up to this one ever get fixed! I think I could swim through treacle quicker.
