Reported in the Damaged road edge, encroaches more than 100mm category anonymously at 17:25, Fri 29 November 2019

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 360301.

This extensive damage includes all road surfaces, with potholes up to 1 metre in length, verges destroyed on both sides of the road with large ruts, mud covering the road surface to depth of 2-3 inches in places, road margins worn away and raised camber. The whole road ,already in a poor state ,has deteriorated drastically in the last 3 weeks, virtually impassable now for small cars, due to large volume of through traffic. This has been caused by the closure of A46 at Faldingworth, and traffic diverted inadequately. This road is only single track carriageway with no passing places and blind 90 degree bends. The volume of traffic has included a lot of large vans as well as some lorries. This road is also route 1 of the national cycle route and currently is in an unsafe condition.it needs to be assessed and resolved immediately before there is an accident.
