Blocked drain causing flooding over half of road
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 20:17, Fri 13 December 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 361261.
Whenever it rains the northbound side of Sudbrook Rd floods, up towards the junction with the A607. This leads to cars skirting the puddle, given the danger of unknown potholes or other obstructions under the water, and risking head-on collision with vehicles travelling (often far too fast) from the Lincoln direction. Furthermore, once we have a cold snap, this water will be carried by vehicles onto the A607, potentially causing a serious ice hazard on a sharp corner with a long history of accidents.
