Land slip into stream with tension crack in road
Reported in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category anonymously at 23:17, Tue 24 December 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 362220.
After heavy rain and high water level this long standing weak point on the outside bend of the stream has slumped and removed support to the road shoulder. Furthermore there is a further tension crack in the centre of the westbound carridgeway. The slip into the ditch has caused exposure of the edge of the road structure. This road is frequently used by HGV’s and the current conditions present a high risk.
