This fault will be assessed for the possibility of future permanent works and prioritised according to our Highways Asset Management Plan.
Our programme of works is available at http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ highways-works-programmes and is updated every Autumn. All requests are prioritised within the available annual budget so works may not appear on the next programme.
However, we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule and issue temporary repairs, where necessary, in accordance with our response times for fault reports.State changed to: Closed

The first of the above images was taken on 9 Jan 2020, the other two were taken on 12 Jan 2020. These photographs are representative of regular occurrences. In between these dates AW visited site to investigate regular discharges of effluent at our Village Hall. The explanation is that the volume of surface water entering the system is overloading it. This in turn overwhelms the pumping stations at Withern and Strubby which then causes the activation of a secondary pump at the far end of Church Lane that exists to protect the Trout Farm. The result is that the domestic manhole at the Village Hall become the pressure relief valve for foul and surface water discharge. This discharge goes directly into the adjacent water course. This situation requires the urgent attention of LCC and AW so that a full and joint report can be supplied to the Environment Agency.
