Footpath running adjacent to monks road floods
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:34, Tue 14 January 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 363958.
The footpath that runs adjacent to monks road and the arboretum continually floods. This primarily is due to there being no drainage on the footpath which leads to the water which is deep continually staying on the pathway after it flows from the Arboretum which the pathway there also floods. Having contacted City of Lincoln they have advised this is an issue for LCC Highways to deal with as it relates to drainage in this case lack of.

The path is getting worse when the nearby spring overflows, people are climbing on fence to get past. It is dangerous and needs addressing before people take drastic action to avoid getting soaked such as jumping off wall to cross road and avoid puddle which has been witnessed
