Belton Park GC grade 1 boundary wall running alongside Londonthorpe Lane from Withambrook Park to the right hand bend leading up the hill to Londothorpe is heavily overgrown with ivy and trees on the roadside verge. The trees and ivy are staring to damage the wall in several areas. If the trees and ivy is not removed there is every chance that the wall will collapse onto Londonthorpe Lane. Initially reported during 2016 reply received from the Highways Agency - 20 May 2016. No further further correspondence received to date.

Having checked to see if the work has been completed it is apparent that a 200 metre section of the the wall has not been cleared, the fault has not been rectified and the wall is clearly being damaged. In addition the section that has been cleared has numerous tree stumps that don’t appear to have been treated to stop them regrowing. If they are not treated they will start to grow again and as the roots are under the wall they will continue to damage the wall.
