Previously repaired sinkhole in main road appears to be sinking again

Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 17:06, Mon 27 January 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 365387.

Last year there was a sinkhole in the B1168 between Holbeach Primary School and Tesco Holbeach, which was repaired. The road repair is sinking down once again and causes a strong jolt when driving over it. I think it needs looking at again.

  • This is sinking more and more, damage to cars is inevitable unless this is fixed. Nothing to highlight it until you are on it. It’s been reported a while ago and still nothing has been done, please provide an update on when this is getting fixed.

  • Well after weeks of the road being closed for repairs it was finally re-opened and now a few weeks later the area is showing signs of sinking again. This was to be the final ultimate fix. Perhaps the contractor would like to come back and explain?

  • Area is sinking again and quite rapidly. Damage to cars is likely if it continues.
