This serious 10” deep depression was reported over 8 weeks ago and despite assurances from LCC NO WORK has been in the past 8 weeks.
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 14:39, Tue 28 January 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 365470.
This 10” deep depression, around 5 feet across, was first reported in late December last and despite chasers to LCC and at least two confirmations from them that a work order had been issue, and 6 large cones being placed around the depression blocking off two thirds of the road width, they have have now in the past three days closed the case as requiring no further action.
This depression IS STILL THERE, nothing has been done and the 6 cones are still today blocking off two thirds of the road.
After 8 weeks of total lack of action, here we are now back at square one.
LCC NEED TO EXPLAIN THEMSELVES URGENTLY!,

Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway.
Unfortunately, this issue cannot be dealt with by the county council as the asset concerned is the responsibility of a third party. You will need to report the fault directly to the organisation responsible.State changed to: No further action

Despite LCC yet again closing this case as no further action required and after them says that Anglia Water have accepted to sort it since its on their system, Anglia Water are in fact looking at it BUT say the underlying issue is on the surface water pipes so Im afraid its back to LCC who are in fact the correct authority for this system. Anglia Water, after lengthy discussions with me, are now going back to LCC and liaising to sort out if AW will do the work and charge back LCC or what.

Anglia Water have now confirmed that LCC Roads & Highways have been advised that it is the LCC surface water drainage system pipes that cross the road at this point that have collapsed.
A new Fix my Street will be done immediately to ensure that LCC cant continue prevaricating.
