Drain block Spalding Road Holbeach PE127HH and pavement cracked
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:24, Mon 10 February 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 366540.
Despite the drains along Spalding Road Holbeach PE127HH being cleaned two weeks ago the drain on the pavement is still overflowing with the slightest bit of rain. This is causing flooding of house driveway every time it rains and sludge now running down the driveway. It is also making pedestrians walk on busy 40mph road as the puddle over the top of the drain on the pavement is too deep to walk through. The roots from the tree have caused the path to break and have lifted the pavement causing elderly and vulnerable residents to trip when walking. The roots I would suggest have in turn caused damage to the drains causing the flooding.

This drain on the path still remains blocked/broken and the pavement and driveway still gets flooded every time it rains forcing pedestrians to walk on the road. The status has been changed to no further action but nothing has been done about it despite me highlighting this for a couple of years at least. The pavement is also still raised and cracked by the tree roots causing a trip hazard.
