Blocked drains (again)

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 367036.

I have reported this before The drains are blocked in Westlode street 60, 61 ,62 ,etc,during rainfall we (residents)are unable to gain access to cars today the pond formed is 20ft x 20ft 3ins deep (9am) covering the parking bays a partial attempt to clean some of the drains proved useless as most people were not informed and access could not be gained to many of the gullies as vehicles were parked obstructing them We DO NOT want a repeat of what was a waste of time and money These drains need properly and systematically cleaning before they flood the road and properties near the junction of Albion Street Please see my previous details I welcome a proper reply to my comments rather that a stereo response Thank you Peter king

  • Major dip in road opposite Taylor’s Vauxhall dealers on the main road very dangerous Presumably caused by subsidence as yet no damage to tarmac just an horrendous dip!

  • This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
