A Hawthorne tree outside 51/53 Hawthorn Avenue has been removed leaving a hole in the grass verge. This is dangerous to small children leaving local school who sometimes run down the verges. I shall shortly start cuttings the grass as you only cut it a few times a year and again this hole makes it more difficult and dangerous. I am unsure why the tree support was removed originally and the tree some time later.

This hole in the verge requires to be filled in before someone probably a child gets a foot into it while running and hurts themselves.
