Complete side of carriageway boken away to depth of 150mm opposite 58 Dog Drove North
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 13:41, Thu 12 March 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 369698.
Because of overgrown trees and hedgerow at 58 Dog Drove North, which you have been told about before but nothing has ever been done about them. the road at this point is only 2 meters wide. the road opposite has once again broken away damaging your previous repairs because heavy farm machinery and HGVs have to move off of road to get by so breaking side of road. Also the electricity pole at this point has been hit on more than one occasion because of this same problem and now leans at 15 deg towards the road.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. We have inspected the location and found that the reported hedges do not encroach the highway and the verges are in acceptable condition. Unfortunately we are unable to widen this very narrow road however we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule. The electricity pole is the responsibility of Western Power Distribution, you can report it directly to them at https://www.westernpower.co.uk/ contact-us/ contacting-western-power/ ways-to-contact-us. Thank you for reporting this matter
