Overgrown trees hanging in road.
Reported in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 18:37, Tue 31 March 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 370324.
This house (301?) has been empty for a while and the large trees at the front of the property overhang the road at the very top. when the lorries full of hay bales pass through the village, these trees effectively sweep the straw off the lorry and large amounts of it are deposited on the road and footpath, which then rots down and makes the paths difficult to pass. The owner should take responsibility for the upkeep of the property if no-one is living there.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because when we inspected this location it appeared that the property owner had cut the hedge back and it did not encroach onto the footpath. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule. If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. Thank you for reporting this matter.
