Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 370426.

Memorial lane Gedney Dyke PE120an runs downhill off Main street and floods my drive when it rains. This also brings any mud and gravel etc with it. This has beem like this since i moved here 5 years ago and needs some sort of gulley or drain installing to solve this problem.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because there are no gullies or drainage in the area. There is one offlet which falls to the dyke on the opposite side, installing a new gully with a soakaway is not practical owing to the mud issue and there is no land to install there, therefore there is no solution at this time. When budgets allow, there may be consideration for a pipe to be connected to White House farm or the offlet. Future resurfacing may resolve the issue. We will continue to monitor this. Thank you for reporting this matter.
