Reported in the Visibility at junction or bend category anonymously at 17:14, Friday 24 April 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 370793.
The junction from new river drove onto Barrier bank is totally obscured due to the height of the new vegetation. This is an accident waiting to happen especially with so many more people using this are to have there daily exercise allowance. Please please can the mowers cut this as soon as possible. Many thanks.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
State changed to: No further action

I have had to pay out of my own money for a small amount of verge to be cut as this is a death trap. If there was an accident I would say without doubt there would be a fatality. I see other verges less in need being cut. This should be a priority. I live at the place in question and twice a day we both take our lives into our hands and one has to walk into the road to see if all clear. There are also dozens of dogs users use this too.
