Team arrived today to fix the problem but they had not been made aware that the gulley needed replacing or been given access to the photos or information posted above. Consequently the team was unable to address the problem today.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
State changed to: No further action

I am not sure what your latest response actually means. This is a much bigger job than cutting grass or spraying weeds. The complete drain/gulley will have to be extracted and a replacement installed in addition to associated pipework, probably also involving a road closure. Would appreciate confirmation that this work has been scheduled and the provision of an approx date for the works, it needs to be undertaken prior to the onset of winter in order to avoid the flooding that occurred earlier this year.

Would appreciate an update as 6 months have passed since reporting and no action has been taken. Why have you closed this problem down ? The problem still exists and was diagnosed by your contractors. As rainfall increases during the winter this will start to cause problems for surrounding properties again.
