UNeven surface over 50 yards, from pub to the corner
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 09:08, Fri 29 May 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371792.
Please, please can someone come and resurface this piece of road. From The Rock to the corner (scrub lane) the surface is becoming very uneven and causing tremors in my house. Visually it does not appear to be an issue but we can feel it in the house. We have very heavy lorries now using this road, this has increased rapidly in the last three years. 4,5 & 6 axle HGV's, delivery, grain, Fairburn Eggs, Foreign & Supermarket now use this road. When they pass Park View there is a series in undulations before and after the property, in both directions. They are not 'potholes' or look very serious but we can feel them in our house. When an empty lorry passes you can hear it rattle and clank as it crashes over the issues. It is for the whole stretch and making us very unhappy.
I have been reporting this for three years and once the manholes were attended to which helped. But they are now deteriorating again. This plus the piece that runs across the road from the small substation are at fault (in my opinion). If anyone wishes to contact me when they attend I am happy to assist if required. Please come and do something about this problem.
