Uneven and unsafe tripping hazards for disabled family members and children.
Reported in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 21:45, Fri 15 May 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 35 minutes later. Council ref: 371368.
The whole length of our path across our drive is totally uneven and broken in lots of places, meaning loose pieces are causes hazards also. This as a whole is totally unsafe for disabled family members, passers by and also pram users again within the household and close. This needs looking at as a matter of urgency. The has now been like this for the past couple of years.

Good afternoon,
I have been following all of the updates, I was very shocked yesterday to see an ‘in progress’ and then 1 hour later ‘fixed’ during this time I mearly blinked and the work was done. As soon as I received the ‘fixed’ email I went outside my property to inspect the work only to find that half of the path had in fact been repaired? When I say half the path I mean in depth of the path. I reported that the path is broken in places as can be seen all the way back to our drive in places that is visible. And that is a hazard. I would ask that this is re looked at and inspected as I do not feel that this work has been completed to a satisfactory level given the nature of the complaint and report.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. A site visit was carried out on 14 July 2020 and we found that the work that has been carried out is to a satisfactory standard. The repairs were made to a section of footway that was over 25mm and although the remaining section is not perfect, this is within our intervention level so no further action will be taken at this time but we will continue to monitor during our routine highway inspections. Campbells Close has been put forward for future footway resurfacing works and when the funding becomes available these works will be carried out. Thank you for reporting this matter.
