Continuing problem with recurring potholes and general breaking down of road surface. Last repairs poorly carried out and already breaking up.
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 11:13, Sat 16 May 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371376.
See above. This issue has been raised time and again for more than two years. Proper repairs need to be carried out along the whole length of West Street, from junction with A607 to junction with Barnes Lane. A bit of tar shovelled over the worst problem areas is neither satisfactory nor efficient - such repairs last barely a matter of weeks. Above all, it’s not cost effective or good use of taxpayers’ (ie our) money. Please take the time and make the effort to do a proper job. There are photos on file, sent electronically to Mr Paul Rustead on 18 Oct 2019.

By the tyre marks left on the road, you can see a near miss of a serious accident here. The road has sunk to the point where some cars will be grounding in a sixty mile an hour zone. If they do not know the road, people would not be expecting such hazards in an open road. Urgent Haunching is required.
