Back to all reports

The Steepers has a very badly broken road surface with lots of large clinkers of stone which are extreme dangerous to anyone on a cycle and using a wheelchair, mobility scooter or crutches which I as a resident am having to do. Please please resurface. Thank you.

Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 12:24, Saturday 23 May 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371607.

The damaged road surface has been reported many times over the past 2/3 years, is an utter disgrace and has been caused by the refuse collection van being turned round at the bottom of The Steepers. Patching is not the answer. It requires resurfacing. Please could you name our road on your map. It has existed for over 50 years. Thank you.

  • I've just confirmed with the contractors, Balfour Beatty, that they are missing out the steepers pavements again, even though they are fixing those on Highfields. This is beginning to feel personal. Even the workmen acknowledged they are replacing pavements on Highfields in better condition than ours. This, along with your refusal to make our road surface safe, is not what i would expect and i look forward to our council tax refund
