Overgrowing tree branches into road

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371838.

Regarding the trees in the spinney of Sycamore House overhanging the road, This is forcing buses and farm vehicles onto the other side of the road on the bend resulting in a danger to oncoming traffic. There is also a danger of falling branches to cyclists and cars following high vehicles.

  • We are sorry we are not taking immediate action with this report. We have assessed this matter in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and it does not require urgent action. These trees form part of a long established spinney. They are all private trees and as such the responsibility of the landowner. We would advise that the Parish Council approach the landowner in the first instance. Thank you for reporting this matter.
