Tree suffering base rotting

Reported in the Dying or diseased tree category by Cllr Renshaw at 13:53, Wed 3 June 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371979.

Tree outside no 105 Nettleham road is suffering from rot in the base and has loosened in its site. Lots of visible evidence of dyback

There are several between end of Geneva and Palmer court showing dead branches and branches with no leaf, and many with rot pockets in strategic points on the trunks. I am happy to walk with inspector from a social distance.

  • A Resident informed me that he was able to insert a rod into a hole at the base of tree for 9 inches. Clearly a worry for residents.

See NEW additional report for tree south of this one.
