Our tree officer visited the site and found that this ash tree is growing from the property hedge rather than the verge it is therefore not on the publicly maintainable highway. Ash trees are currently being affected by Ash Dieback disease however it was established during the visit that this tree appears to be little affected with less than 10% crown dieback. The dead branch in the lower crown is the result of dieback of the lower branches caused by normal tree growth. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
