Surface damage on junction of post office lane
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 12:01, Wed 10 June 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372254.
The red surface is breaking up, looks quite old anyway, the noise from it is horrendous especially from tractors, lorries and speeding motorists, but the main problem is the loose chippings / stones which fly up from passing vehicles, I have had a chip in my van screen repaired from a flying stone, i was stood by my van when it happenened and heard it, 3 months ago a side window on my van was smashed from a flying stone, at first i thought it had been broken into but then i found the pink stone in the glass!, then last week i was out cutting my grass and a stone hit me in the shoulder!, luckily no injury!, I actually swept the loose stones up back in february but within a week or two its the same again, any more damage and i will have to put in a claim, so can this surface be rectified please

Hello, as nothing has been done about this damaged road surface, minimum you could do is have a road sweeper out to clear the loose stone / debris., attatched is a picture of the damage to my arm from a flying stone , as nothing has been done to the road junction I am considering seeking legal action about this, could i have an official response as to your intentions for the road repair, regards Mr P Samways

Firstly thankyou for the apology and support (NOT)for my injury from this damaged road junction!, secondly thankyou for sending out the road sweeper He tried but waste of time!, my side of the junction he only swept once and still loads of loose stone left! and they are still being sprung up by passing traffic, Speeders mostly, I have actually tried to Sweep the stones up myself but its too dangerous out there and i'm actually disabled and find it difficult!. the pot holes being derived from the useless red coating on the surface are becoming unbearable!, the noise is now horrendous and constant, please Never replace this ridiculous coloured coating on this junction again, everywhere you see this red coating the road breaks up and results in potholes, more damage for you to repair, now could someone please call out to see me about this problem in person thankyou, I am now looking into a legal claim for personal injury as I have been ignored, Regards
