  • The whole area from Mill Lane Farm to 500m past Clover Barn is in a ruinous state with many large potholes and broken edges. The road needs a complete renovation as was done from the village to Welbourn, which was excellent. Throwing a few blobs of tar at the hole achieves nothing and is a waste of time and materials as the stuff comes out in a very short time and just adds to the rubbish on the roadway.

  • Some men came and filled a few holes on a "knit one, pearl one" basis but completely avoided doing anything with the complaint area! As I said earlier, this road needs a complete repair, not a feeble bodge job. A nearby neighbour had a tyre burst at night in the rain, at the very spot, this was not the first. Get your act together!

  • 4th november. Some guys came and worked away at a short area for a few hours, however when we inspected after they had gone. Surprise! They had filled 5 holes but left 49 other significant holes. Top job! What a bunch of comedians....

  • Yet again contractors have been out but have not filled the potholes towards Clover Farm (ie further down Mill Lane). This whole area needs looking at as it is in a dreadful state - coming and going and filling a few potholes at a time is not solving the overall problem.
