Un controllable straw on road side through out the trading estate, from straw haulage firm.

The Straw Haulage company at Hemswell cliff trading estate is causing a major fire Hazard problem with all the straw that has com off the trailers carrying straw bales. this has blown in to near by business car-parks all it would take is a discarded cigarette and they would be a fire that could start a chain reaction of fuel tanks bursting into flames. the straw is also in the grass verges through the village this could also be a fire hazard.

We acknowledge your concerns and accept that the highway has deteriorated in condition. We have assessed the fault in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and it does not require urgent action.
