Overgrown tree enroaching BT line and property
Reported in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 18:34, Monday 29 June 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372969.
We have just taken ownership of 28 Sudbrooke Road and there is a large tree on the public path outside of the property. The branches are hanging dangerously low at head height both into the property as well as into the pathway and has scratched the top of one of our vehicles when driving into our drive. The branches are also encroaching on the BT lines.
Thank you for reporting this issue. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we may not be able to meet our usual response times. We are doing everything we can to maintain resource levels to provide your highways service. Thank you for your patience.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report as we do not routinely carry out tree husbandry however we have removed the twigs that were hanging down over the driveway. You are entitled to remove any branches that overhang your boundary as long as there is no detrimental effect to the tree stability or health. Open Reach (BT) will attend to any problems with line interference. Thank you for reporting this matter.
