Several over grown trees / hedges
Reported in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 19:08, Mon 29 June 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372972.
Over grown hedge / trees on the road side are forcing vehicles to use the bank top. We need access with large machinery and HGV’s throughout the year. Damage to the vehicles is a concern but also more importantly the safety as there is a risk of getting stuck or even the bank top giving away. Where vehicles have rutted the side of the road, water now stands and I time will ingress in the road surface and cause more damage. Although there is another entrance at the lade bank pumping station, we cannot get machinery or hgv’s around the tight bend so going past these trees is our only option. In a few weeks time we will be using this road regularly due to harvesting operations.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
State changed to: No further action
