Pavement and carriageway floods when it rains
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:03, Tue 30 June 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372986.
The pavement on Spalding Road, Pinchbeck, near the junction of Market Way is still flooding. I reported this ages ago and it still hasn't been fixed. When it rains, the flooding completely blocks the pavement and half of the road carriageway.
I have reported this multiple times to South Holland District Council. First of all they said the issue was fixed. When I reported that it wasn't fixed they passed me on to Lincolnshire Highways.
Please can this issue be investigated asap. It's been a problem for a while. This pavement cannot be safely used when it is flooded.
Photos attached include ones taken over the recent winter and a photo taken the other week from Market Way highlighting the issue.
Thank you for reporting this issue. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we may not be able to meet our usual response times. We are doing everything we can to maintain resource levels to provide your highways service. Thank you for your patience.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
State changed to: No further action
