Missing Give way signs, poor surface and faded road markings.
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 09:30, Sun 5 July 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373217.
The B1205/B1938 Crossroads needs significant safety work. Many accidents have occurred at/around this crossroads likely due to the poor visibility due to the hill south of the B1205 inter-crossing road.
Suggest these improvements:
1. Flashing Give way signs at both sides of the B1205 and flashing Caution signs .5 Km of the crossroads in each direction (in Partnership with NLC) 2. As completed on the A159 on the Scotter road junction, Renew at least 25 Metres of the road surface 'cutting across' the crossroads in both directions to improve adhesion and grip. 3. Consider alongside North Lincolnshire Council and yourselves to impose a 50 MPH speed limit at least 1 Km in length from Church lane extending northwards.
