Broken drain cover with potential to cause injury

Reported in the Manhole/drain cover on pavement/verge category anonymously at 11:52, Tuesday 7 July 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373300.

About one third of the drainage grid is missing which potentially could lead to an injury if someone stepped on it . The drain is in an area where pedestrians would cross the road to get from Morton Front to Thonock Hill.

  • This drain cover has not been repaired or replaced it just has 2 traffic cones on it, I do not understand why it has been changed to fixed

  • The traffic cone that was highlighting this fault is missing so the likelihood of an injury due to this broken grate has been significantly increased.
