Overhanging trees.paths covered with moss. Street light obscured
Reported in the Obstruction on pavement/verge category anonymously at 11:00, Sun 19 July 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373798.
Trees from Castle Farm overhang into Glenside. The resultant moss created makes the path impassable in wet weather ( residents of the 6 houses include some elderly people and child). The street light doesn’t function correctly due to overgrown tree. The trees now encroach into the road as have had no attention ever !! Owner made token effort last time this issue was raised but is now worse than ever. Needs serious cut back and the path redone. All owners are fed up with this situation as we look after the remainder of the road and verges ourselves.

South Kesteven District Council are responsible for footway sweeping. You can report the moss on the footway to them at http://www.southkesteven.gov.uk/ index.aspx?articleid=8595. No issues were found with the vegetation at this location except for the shading of the street light which will be dealt with by our street lighting team. Thank you for reporting this matter.
