Blocked drain Corner of Craypool and Back Lanes
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 09:32, Sunday 26 July 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 374078.
The verges get cut and the bits left in the road, so when it rains it all comes cascading down Orchard Close and Craypool and all ends up at the junction of Back Lane. The drains are blocked further up Craypool, they have been reported but you have said you are taking no action. The council are not cleaning the lane after cutting verges. When the drain gets blocked our sewage pipe is affected and the water backs up our downstairs toilet. I will report it again to Anglian Water but they say it is the local authority drains that are the problem. I don’t want to get flooded so you must keep on top of clearing ALL the drains on Craypool Lane. Thank you.
Thank you for reporting this issue. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we may not be able to meet our usual response times. We are doing everything we can to maintain resource levels to provide your highways service. Thank you for your patience.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.
State changed to: No further action
