We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. Officers have on more than one occasion passed during wet periods, and a significant problem has not been noted. A request to provide photos/video evidence of the issue to aid the investigation has not been acted on and as such we cannot progress this further. We do not believe it is causing any internal flooding, but if it is causing you issues, then please assist us by providing some further information and or photos when the issue next occurs. Due to many other issues and priorities, we are not in a position to undertake works without the complete picture which at present we have not got. If the requested information is provided, we will of course act as appropriate, but until such time we are not taking further action with this enquiry. Thank you for reporting this matter.

I would just like to remind highways that Photographs we’re provided to you but they went missing with Councillors and Highway officials which is not my fault they might indeed still be on their computer.
As for the a person observing my dilemma of surface water flooding around our house and still on occasions Would go over our shoes, which makes the front path to the bungalow unusable. why did you not let us know you had made an inspection and show your credentials, and later on could have walked in it and got very wet feet.
Also the one side of our drive was dug out and is lowered till highways rectify the problem, however this is not how we wish it to be.
I don’t take any pleasure in in this long drawn out problem,on the contrary it is playing on our heath and happiness,as we don’t have solicitors to check on our answers.
So in ending this report I must again request that you put things right like you should,so i can put my drive back to how we like it.

I first reported the surface water coming down our drive as the drop kerbs are too low and a drain in the kerbs has no pipe work.
This was first reported on 06/02/2018 and still has not been resolved despite getting in touch with Councillor Davies and Councillor Ian Carrington.
