  • This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.

  • This situation has been on going since the start of this year and just be coming worse, I feel you need to action intervention for this problem asap. You state about grass cutting and weeding but that is not impacting on safety. The build up of water on the road is causing a safety issue and action should be given a priority!

  • This has still not been dealt with. It happened again during rain on 25 Aug 2020. The drain outside nr 50 is working as it should but the drain outside nr 46 is not draining at all. There is clearly an issue between the two drainage covers, probably underground. This need investigating as a matter of priority. It will not be long before this flooding causes a serious incident as it is on a blind bend and traffic travelling towards Sleaford centre does not see it until very late.

  • This is happening right now, Friday 28th Aug, and it's only been raining for an hour (1130-1230)! Can you imagine what state the road will be in if the rain continues for several hours? It will be a river and an accident waiting to happen. Traffic does not slow down, perhaps because drives are not aware the road floods, no signs to warn them. Investigation needs to be happening now preferably with cameras to check the drain pipes between nos 46 and 50 Mareham Lane.
