Very severe ramps either side of the bridges, warning sign not near the worst one. Road been like this for 2 years with absolutely nothing being done to rectify it.

Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 22:00, Mon 27 July 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 374173.

There has been a big 'ramp' here for at least 18 months (the length of time I have been using this road) with nothing ever being done. Obviously the ground has sunken either side of the bridges. There is a sign saying 'Ramp' that is placed up the road but isn't near the worst of the ramps. At least if you are going to leave it with such a deep ramp please put a sign up warning drivers and lower the speed limit there - I use this road at least 4 times a week and I worry for the damage it must do every time I go down it and then up it on my return. At least I am aware it is there, it's not good for drivers who aren't aware.

  • When is this likely to happen? This has been like this for at least 18 months, way before the current situation with covid. It is not doing my car any good going over this even at low speed. it is a reall bounce or bump whichever way you are going! My car is fairly new and is roadworthy but I have worried for some time that I will end up with problems due to this. I haven’t ever reported it as I didn’t think it was my place to and that it was Lincs highways that should pick up these problems, especially as I know it’s been there for at least 18 months, since I started using the toad so regularly.

  • This problem is getting worse. Now no warning signs & very little interest by the highways dept.
