Cycling on Chapel Walk

Reported via Android in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 22:08, Tuesday 28 July 2020

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 374234.

People keep cycling along Chapel Walk in Scothern even though it is a non cycling streey. There is a no cycling sign up but it causes confusion or is generally ignored. This causes safety issues as property doors open directly onto the street. Please can you arrange for more prominent signage to be installed at either end if Chapel Walk to make it more noticeable. Many thanks.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. We have visited the location and a sign is placed at either end of the footpath which is considered adequate signage therefore we will not be adding extra signs. Unfortunately we cannot enforce them ourselves as it is only the police that can do so. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
