Road drain on west side of Skellingthorpe Road totally choked with mud and silt
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 10:53, Thu 13 August 2020
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 374839.
The drain being blocked causes water to run downhill to the next drain and overspill into the driveway of number 375, casing flooding during heavy rain.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October. We clean highway drains once a year.

This is not satisfactory. You should not blame the virus for your failures. The drain needs to be emptied at least twice a year. The grass mowing has no bearing on the paths which are being encroached and have reduced the path width by 40%, and these paths are shared with cycles. URGENT attention is required. I am happy to meet your representative in order that you fully understand the dangers this problem is causing

You were originally told about this on August 20th, we are now very close to September 20th. I have just taken 3 photos but I can only download 1, but all 3 grates are totally blocked on the SE side of Skellingthorpe Road from 373 SR to outside Stones Place which causes flooding problems on 5 driveways namely 373, 375, 375a, 375b and 377. Another issue outside 377 is that you have resurfaced the highway above the height of the dropped kerb which exasperates the problem.

Today October 8th and a gully sweeper was operating on Skellingthorpe Road near Hartsholme Park, same side of the road as 373/375/377, less than 800 yards away, and has he done the problem gullies? NO! I guess the council will waste more money by re subcontracting the same company to move a few yards up the road.
